When we embarked on a mission to design a superior roofing system, our goal was to become an old world artisan, creating a roof tile with old world charm, and accepting nothing less than a beautiful, secure, and enduring material to complement and add value to the home.

Welcome to Stoneworth Building Products.
Our specialty is in combining our superior roofing tile—its strength and rigidity—with a defining aesthetic value, creating a truly unique impression which distinguishes the home from others. We have formulated roofing materials which preserve, prolong and protect the investment in the home, while adding to its value.

Our roof tiles maintain the strength, rigidity and toughness of permanent materials, minimizing the maintenance required over the life of the roof. This architectural and manufacturing integrity allows us to provide a limited, transferable 50 year warranty. Adding texture and a third dimension to the covering of the home defines the architectural style. To that end, we offer a wide variety of tile Profiles—from flat tiles in multiple dimensions—to a barrel tile which has unique distinctiveness.

This classic flat tile, simple and elegant, combines strength with the aesthetic appeal of a three dimensional roofing product. Reminiscent of a township in south central England, this profile provides the durability of a tile product with the traditional overlap of interlocking squares. Achieve an “old world” look with a blend of multiple hues, or simply complement the home with color.

When looking for a definitive roof tile, with the distinctive appearance of multiple finely honed surfaces, Bristol may fill the role. Its center groove multiplies its face, and implies the backbone characteristic of English Regency architecture. Its character is refined by the image of ancient slate, making it a popular surface for completing a home.

Cambridge is a flat tile with a narrow gap, highlighting the left side which is smooth, from the right side which is brushed. This hand-crafted process creates the appearance of two distinct surfaces, one which reflects light and the other which deflects light. The perspective visible is that of a medieval atmosphere, symbolic of the city with which it shares a name.

This offset flat tile, with two distinct lengths, resembles the fashionable and residential auras of the London borough for which it is named. This varying length tile gives the appearance of additional faces, while maintaining the stability of the singular tile firmness. The cottagelike design turns a roof into a softer shelter, with the strength to separate the home from the elements.

Combining the distinguished, hand-crafted brushing of a fine tile with the separation and distinction of two lengths and surfaces, the Nottingham has an artisan’s touch. This special tile, designed to give depth, texture and beauty to a material which has long-lasting toughness, is the favorite for those who want to emulate the charm of the fabled birthplace of Robin Hood.

This barrel tile, its appearance hinting at the Italian architecture of Venice, quintessentially establishes an image of centuries gone by. This tile configuration brings back the style and elegance of the European tile-smith, a craftsman whose desire to shield a domicile from the elements was legendary. It is no wonder that these tiles have withstood centuries, in some places where the water is more common than roadways.

Freeze Thaw. Stoneworth tile has the ability to withstand not just extreme temperatures, but a rapid “swing” from one extreme to the other.

Permeability. Our tile resists penetration of water through its surface when exposed to water constantly for 24 hours.

Impact Resistance.Stoneworth roofing materials are durable, and resist significant levels of impact.

Breakage. With roof tile, one objective is to be breakage resistant. Our tile handles dramatic loads, minimizing the need for replacement over a period of time.

Absorption. One of the most important tests is to confirm that tile does not absorb additional weight when exposed to water. Our tile passes this test.

Cost-effectiveness. When evaluated over the life of a roof, concrete tiles are the most cost effective alternative.

Passing the Test

We put our tile to the test with methods used to simulate the natural conditions invariably encountered.
